Here at Sirius we have been monitoring the Bewdley gauge where it has risen by 19mm between 9:30am and 1:30pm this morning.
This following text is lifted from the Shrewsbury flood warning page. The are currently no flood warnings in place specfic to Worcestershire & bewdley or Stourport and beyond at present.
"This message contains gauge information for Crew Green, Montford, Welsh Bridge and Buildwas. Currently no flooding is expected in other gauge locations. This message will be updated at 10:00 pm or if the situation changes. At 1 pm today; The level at the Crew Green Gauge was 5.66 metres and falling slowly. A peak level of 5.68 metres occurred this morning. The level at the Montford Gauge was 5.10 metres and steady. A peak level is occuring now. The level at the Welsh Bridge Gauge was 2.64 metres and rising slowly. A peak level of between 2.7 and 2.9 metres is expected to occur this evening. The level at the Buildwas Gauge was 3.61 metres and rising. A peak level of between 3.6 and 3.8 metres is expected to occur tomorrow morning. The following roads could be affected by flooding. Pentre to Melverley road near Royal Hill. Gravel Hill Lane, Shrewsbury. Sydney Avenue."
