Repairs & Restoration

We can repair virtually any material including scratches, cracks & holes in fibreglass, replacement planks and ribs in wooden boats, bespoke decking and replating of steel hulls. No job is considered too large or small. We have craftsmen here who can transform wooden boats into beautiful, restored vessels.

Hull maintenance

We can remove previous layers of anti-foul and prepare your hull for a fresh coat or two of our carefully selected anti-foul (or you can provide your own) which will keep your hull protected from unwanted growth. Our anti-foul is suitable for all kinds of waters. Alternatively, we can do copper coating in place of anti-fouling.

Fit Outs

We build our own hulls as well as fitting out other peoples. This can be to your specification, or be designed by us. Usually we build our own storage units & galley but can supply any specification you wish including beautiful cupboard interiors with innovative storage solutions. All our work is hand crafted to a high standard.

Boat moorings

There are limited wet moorings although, as we’re a working boat yard these are not often available long term. We are usually able to accommodate our customer’s requirements at the end of their projects or our own new builds.

Fibreglass needs TLC, like any other material, whether it be a good clean & polish or an osmosis treatment.

Osmosis is no longer the dreadful stigma it was years ago as we know much more about it now such as; how to both prevent & cure it. The sooner it’s dealt with the better, and most cost effective.

Contact us if you would more information.

Shot blasting services

Shot blasting is on site and carried out in a controlled area with our own equipment. Sand blasting can be arranged on or off site and is usually contracted in at favourable rates.  We can also offer blasting with softer media via our Soda Blasting equipment.

Soda blasting services

Eco friendly, quick & cleaner than shot/sand blasting. Easy removal of anti-foul in one go back to the hull. Safe on glass, rubber & most plastic trim. This new process uses food grade baking soda to effectively remove anti-foul and other paint to clean, sanitise and de-oderize most materials from almost any surface. The use of harder media i.e. crushed glass, garnet or aluminium silicate, will allow for deeper surface penetration & material removal.

Adopt a fuel & fuel maintenance program to prevent breakdowns, reduce repair bills, save diesel & reduce emissions.

We have a range of diesel additives to use in both marine vessels plus road & plant diesel engines.

Find out more about diesel engine maintenance or visit our shop >> to see the range & purchase the products.

All fuel systems require regular maintenance, including the tanks.  Ideally tanks should be cleaned out every 3-5 years. Even if you know your diesel is always perfect diesel, over time there will be a natural build up of deposits and sludge.

For narrowboats prices start at £350.  This would include removing old diesel and sludge etc.  Pressurise to check integrity, before adding detergents and pressure washing inside the tank.  Safely removing and disposing of this water before steam cleaning and filling the tank with condensing steam in order to sterilise it, twice.

For bigger tanks in Dutch barges and cruisers? Please ask for a quote.

Are you worried about the contents at the bottom of your diesel tank? No problem. Just book in with us and we will steam clean and sterilise your tank.
