A peak of 4.14 was reached at the bewdley gauge overnight.  It is expected to fall slowly during the day today.....

The wharf.

The river usually sits about 12ft below the quayside and as you can see here, it's getting close.

The environment agency has announced that the Severn at Bewdley should begin to fall later with peaks occuring at worcester/Upton this evening  and Saxon laod on thursday.  A quick check of the Met office online shows light rain in the midlands for much of today and tommorrow.
