The work of Droitwich Canals trustand project's partnerscompleted the restoration, which is now set to attract thousands of additional visitors to the area, enabling many to enjoy the newly completed 21 mile crusing ring. As part of the canal restoration, a linear park has been created providing picnic sites, fishing pegs and new stop off points for boaters, walkers and cyclists with new and improved access points plus 26 new visitor moorings.
With plenty to see or do, there is something for all the family. Whether iterested in arts, crafts, the history of the canal [originally the Droitwich barge canal] or bespoke bargains at one of the many trade stalls, the event promises to be a great day out.
